Laughter + Faith

As followers of Jesus, we believe that laughter is an important part of life. As the bible says, “Laughter doeth good like a medicine.” (Proverbs 17:22) There is far too much out there that can depress us, steal our joy and leave us feeling helpless. This blog is a place where we want laughter to live and thrive. Our recollections and life experiences are intended to cause a modicum of amusement, if not out-right chortling.

It won’t take but a nanosecond to figure out we are not a perfect family, far from it, but with our gracious God, we can get through anything if we hold on to what matters and keep our joy up.

In my world, laughter is the linchpin of existence.

This is where hilarity and faith meet the good, the bad and the ugly. And with God’s help, we will all walk through the monotony of daily life unscathed.

Thanks for being here.

  1. Thank you for stopping by my blog and reading a story I wrote. I am very grateful. I am also thrilled because it allowed me to make your acquaintance. I love what you do here! I will enjoy visiting you often. We could all do with some laughter and faith. 👍😀

  2. Mrs. D – I just happened upon your blog today and I can’t stop laughing. I can relate to every single one of your stories. I have three children of my own and have an in-home day care. I have had every human emotion as well as bodily fluid on me, near me, in me and my carpeting. I’ve thought for years that I would like to write a book titled “The Things You Never Thought You’d Have To Say”. I’m sure you would be able to relate to this title and probably help me write it. Having a messy, loud, chaotic, zoo-like home is exhausting and exasperating, but also my greatest blessing at the same time. I have everything I ever wanted. There are times that I have to remember that I prayed for this. But God is always there, reminding me of why I do this and who I serve.

I look forward to following you. Your humor matches mine and I think it’s going to be a fun virtual friendship.

Hope to see you around some more. It’s fun making new friends.

      Blessings,
      -Mrs. D
